volunteer to serve
At Straight Street, we like to give anyone who has interest an opportunity to “get in where you fit in”. Our food shares take place every Monday through Friday at 5:30pm at the Christian Service Center located at 808 West Central Blvd. We welcome individuals, families, small groups, youth groups, churches, fraternities, sororities, etc. to join us weekly in any capacity. Groups of ten or more should schedule on available nights.
sponsor or HOST A MEAL
A well balanced dinner averages a cost of $500. Interested persons can make a donation to cover the cost of a night. Groups and business often express interest in hosting an evening which involves being responsible for preparation and delivery of a meal large enough to feed an average of 200 persons and joining our team to serve our friends.
